But it’s important that you act quickly, because although this technology has been around for some time, its growth is just now beginning to skyrocket.
Follow this link for all the details. But hurry, because this is an extremely time-sensitive situation.

Betting to win in today’s markets
By Andrew Mickey
It was ludicrous, ridiculous, irresponsible, and foolish. Most would have probably even said it was idiotic.
Whatever you call it, most technology ideas are called that ever since the tech-bubble burst six years ago. But now we’re starting to see the next wave of massive investment opportunities in the technology sector.
And there’s none potentially bigger than this one. You see, in 1997, a young French tech geek named Phillipe Kahn decided to put a small camera inside a cellphone. The tech world ridiculed Kahn and the tiny company he founded, Lightsurf. After all, why would anyone ever need a camera inside their cellphone?
Now, more than 50% of all new cellphones have cameras in them and Kahn sold Lightsurf to Verisign for $315 million. And now, it’s happening all over again in the consumer electronics industry.
After all, there’s a massive shift going on in the world of communications. Just like we’ve already seen with cellphones, iPods, VoIP and Wi-Fi, the next evolution is going to be even bigger because it affects all of them.
Thankfully, for savvy investors at least, we’ve still only just begun to see what this technology can do. Before long, we’ll see this technology in hundreds of millions of cellphones, iPods, cars, PDAs… almost everything electronic.
The technology has already turned the entire trucking industry on its head and delivered gains of 497% on 890% to early investors that spotted the trend in Garmin and AtRoad.
It’s easy to see there’s something big brewing here. But these companies, which will be forced to compete aggressively for the consumer market, are just the beginning.
Major companies like Motorola, SpintNextel, Blackberry, TomTom and dozens of others see this opportunity, and they want to be in as early as possible.
The automotive industry was the early adopter of GPS technology for civilian use. And so far there have been 8 million GPS units installed in cars. That’s going to grow to 18 million by 2010 creating a $12 billion market.
Whether Garmin, AtRoad, or TomTom GPS devices will be installed in all 18 million of them remains to be seen, but you can expect they’ll all be powered by this company’s technology.
It’s just like the PC industry. Sure, you can buy a Dell, HP or any other brand of computer, but chances are it will run Windows and be powered by Intel. After all, 80% of them are. That’s why Dell and HP are battling it out at the expense of their profits and stock prices just to grow their own market share. Meanwhile, Microsoft and Intel are the real cash cows in this setup.
But we’re on the verge of the next big thing, and there’s plenty of growth left to go. Merely doubling a market isn’t going to create returns greater than 100% or 200% for investors. But here’s the kicker: GPS technology is going to be in nearly everything.
Just as Phillipe Kahn did with the “idiotic” camera-phone, the major cellphone and electronics makers are starting to do with GPS.
Last quarter, 16.1 million cellphones were shipped with this company’s technology inside of them. But over the next five years, research firms Berg Insight and the Gartner Group expect 1 billion phones to be made with this technology.
But that’s not 200 million each year. They’re calling for 1 billion each year.
And nearly all PDA and portable computer manufacturers, led by Blackberry-maker Research in Motion and HP, have announced they will be making new products with GPS capability. When you consider more than 1.4 million of these handsets are purchased each month, the potential for this market is quite large.
But there’s a lot more to the potential upside of this industry. And, given the numbers we just saw, it’s worth taking a look at here.
