For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a huge fan of Stan Lee’s work. Every day I’d watch Spiderman cartoons, watched as Bruce Banner turned into The Incredible Hulk every Friday night, and run to the store for every new comic book. And I’m not ashamed to say I still get a little giddy over the new Stan Lee character films. But it’s not just excitement being generated by Stan Lee’s characters for me any more. It’s the very real possibility of making big money from investing in his publishing company, POW! Entertainment. Note: I do not own shares of POWN.PK.
Stan Lee’s name carries a lot of Hollywood weight. Having created multi-billion generating comic names such as Spiderman, X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Captain America, Silver Surfer, The Mighty Thor, and many more, he’s gold for any company.
That’s why, when his production studio, POW! Entertainment inked a deal with Walt Disney Studios to develop new entertainment properties, investors sent the stock up 500% in a single day last week. Say reports, Lee will work on developing characters for action films that could go direct to DVD, video games, books, you name it. Is this an unattainable challenge for the 85-year-old Lee? Nah… Says Lee (according to reports), “I’ve got millions of them.”
